Our Projects

We create sustainable change by providing essential services to the most vulnerable.

Education

Barrister Saifullah Khan Technical Education and Vocational Training Institute (BSKTEVTI):

  • Established in 2017 to promote Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
  • Collaborates with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) under the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program (Phase IV).
  • Over 700 trained professionals have been produced, contributing to Pakistan’s economic development.

Healthcare Initiatives

  • Focus on improving healthcare services, particularly in Lakki Marwat, an area lacking basic healthcare infrastructure.
  • Address shortages of qualified healthcare staff, medical supplies, and equipment.
  • Emphasize maternal and child healthcare, introducing management systems to improve service delivery.
  • Work to alleviate the impact of power shortages on healthcare and establish trauma centers and burn units.

Water Access

  • Water scarcity is a critical issue in Lakki Marwat, where only one-third of the population has access to tap water.
  • The majority of residents rely on unhygienic ponds, leading to waterborne diseases such as cholera and diarrhea.
  • The foundation is working on sustainable infrastructure solutions to provide clean and safe drinking water.

Physical and Social Infrastructure

  • Recognizing the lack of investment in physical and recreational infrastructure, particularly in underdeveloped regions, Wadaan Foundation is working to improve the management of healthcare facilities and recreational amenities in KP.
  • The aim is to fill gaps in infrastructure development, helping elevate the quality of life for local residents.

Economic Opportunities

  • District Lakki Marwat faces economic challenges due to factors like the Afghan conflict, terrorism, and an influx of internally displaced persons (IDPs).
  • The foundation works to create economic opportunities by offering vocational and skills training programs for men and women, empowering them to support their families and contribute to the local economy.
  •
